I’ve been dealing with recurring lower back pain for the past couple of months (likely from bad posture and long hours at my desk), and I’m honestly not sure whether to stick with over-the-counter ibuprofen or ask my doctor for something stronger. I mean, is there really that much of a difference between OTC NSAIDs and prescription ones, or is it more about the dosage? Curious what others have experienced.

Over-the-counter NSAIDs can be surprisingly effective for back pain management. The main difference is often dosage strength rather than the medication itself. Prescription ibuprofen typically comes in 600-800mg doses versus 200mg OTC versions. During my recovery breaks from playing Infinite Craft , I've found that taking OTC ibuprofen as directed by package instructions often provides adequate relief. However, persistent pain lasting months definitely warrants a doctor consultation to rule out underlying issues and discuss proper treatment plans.
